Class Guide

Yoga for Sports

Aimed at kids who are very active with sport or dance or just life. Mixed classes with kids from 9-11 and 12-14 years.

This class was designed with the feedback from our friends who are parents, osteopaths, physiotherapists and chiropractors who have all requested that we offer a class to ease young kids muscles out from all their use. Numbers are limited and booking is essential.

Beginners

New to yoga or haven't done any yoga for a while, suitable for those who are reasonably fit as this style of Yoga is challenging!

Beginners 2

Follow on from beginners, its for those who have been doing beginners for a while and want to move on, its for those who have completed a course of classes or more at the shala.

Intermediate

More advanced and intricate postures are offered which require increased levles of flexibility, strength, stamina and balance to perform. Safety is of utmost importance to us at 'The Yoga Shala' so for this reason this class is not suitable for those new to yoga regardless of physical fitness or strength.

Gentle Vinyasa For Women

A new class for Women in Galway. Designed for mature women who want to strenghten up and tone the body and relax at the same time. Slow deep and focused, this class is taught and designed by Laraghs mum Vicky who has been practicing Yoga since she had Laragh in the womb!

Morning Practice

Strong early morning yoga practice. Separate to the evening classes. 9 weeks two classes per week is €225 or €16 drop in.

Pregnancy Yoga

Mums to be, 12 weeks pregnant or later.


Term

New term begins June 30th and continues to August 30th, a 9 week term.

Your place must be reserved in advance by phone or email.

Class Prices:

One class per week - 9 weeks- €125.

Two classes a week- valid Monday to Friday-9 weeks- €195.

Unlimited evening Beginners 2 & Intermediate classes from Monday to Friday-9 weeks- €195

Morning Practice twice a week €225

In the interest of comfort all classes must be pre-booked to reserve your place. One off classes or Drop in's are welcome where space allows (please call) they cost €16.

Saturdays class is on a drop in basis and is €18 for each class, it's not part of the Monday to Friday program so missed classes and the multi-class options are not valid for this class.

Students & unwaged are entitled to a 20% discount when you sign up for the eight week term. This discount is also offered to mums on maternity leave.
